The United Inventors Association (www.UIAUSA.org) is a tax-exempt, not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to provide leadership, support, and services to inventor groups and independent inventors. Individual membership to the UIA includes a free subscription to Inventors' Digest. Membership is also extended to those who provide reputable service and support to the inventor community.
Since 1982, the National Congress of Inventor Organizations (NCIO) has been providing resources and information to individual inventors and inventor groups. Its free resources include an online inventing tutorial, patent legislation updates, invention industry news, book reviews, and more. NCIO's site is www.inventionconvention.com.
InventorSpot.com (originally named AmericanInventorSpot.com) is not related to the ABC TV show, but it does cover the program and provides other helpful inventing information. The site features an invention gallery, forums, and daily blogs. Blogger contributions focus on the latest innovations in different markets--from science and technology to baby/kid products, boomer and senior items, household goods--and inventing news--such as events, contests, and general developments. Check it out at www.inventorspot.com.
